Most Popular Bbs Door Games Software Is Easy
I have been begging for several years and have only run into a few mods and no games outside of what was on the source disks. Unfortunately not many mods or games have survived. It was programmed in BASIC except for some low level routines which makes modding it easy. The main software is easy to find but documentation and mods aren't that easy to find. That being said, I am partial to Color64.
I have some knowledge running Vice 2.4 on Ubuntu but it's shaky at best which is why I haven't put my BBS back online. And numerous people have run winVice on Windows to run a board. The most popular runs through a PC though. If you really want to run a multinode I would suggest trying the PC route again. As for Telnet, several people have created ways to run a real C64 on Telnet. I thought I heard of some 128's that did but that machine was "above my pay grade". I haven't been able to decompile the C*Base code yet.No C64 boards had multinode that I know of.
